We like to keep things simple but we also have an obligation to make our Privacy Policy clear for you, the customer.

Whilst we would love you to read this all, we thought we would highlight the main pointers from our Policy for you here.

 

  • Yes, we secure all of the information you submit to us like it’s our own. And we only ask you for information that is important to complete a payment, or to keep you up-to-date.

Preliminary

This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by SCHOOL OF FISH TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED (“SOFT”) on its SCAMPII mobile application and cloud based platform. 
SOFT operates a network platform, “SCAMPII” which is a mobile application and cloud based platform, through which it provides a product and service warranty record platform wherein Users can upload and maintain details of warranties - for products and services by manufacturers/service providers and/or warranty providers - in a consolidated database. The Application then provides Users with a real time view of the warranty status, extension and associated matters that may relate to User warranty records. The Application may offer additional services from time-to-time as well, the details of all services offered can be found on the Application (the “Services”). 
This Privacy Policy describes how SCAMPII collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit this Application and all other platforms that integrate the Services. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy. We encourage you to check back regularly to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.
 

A. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

A.1 Information We Collect Automatically through the Services: In order to help provide recommendations and promoted content that is relevant to your interests, we automatically collect certain information when you access websites and mobile applications that incorporate the Services. This information reflects information about the websites you visit, the mobile applications you use, and how you interact with our Services.

A.2 Browser and Device Information: We collect information about your browser and device, including your browser type, device type, IP address, user agent string, operating system, mobile carrier, and identifiers assigned to your browser or device.

 

A.3 Click Data: We collect information about the content and ads that you click on within the Services. 

 

A.4 Information You Provide
 

A.4.1 Where available, You may be able to customize your experience by logging in to SCAMPII network through a social media service. If you do this, we will have access to certain information from that service, such as your name, profile information, likes, shares, posts, etc., in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by the social media service you use to login.

A.4.2 You may also share information with us including your purchase history, invoices, warranty information etc. If you do this, we will have access to this information, which will thereafter be used to customise and enhance your user experience on the Application.

B. INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM OTHER SOURCES


B.1 We may also obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Services. For example, we may collect information about you from third parties, including our business partners, other advertising companies, and publicly available sources.
 

C. USE OF INFORMATION


C.1 We use the information we collect to determine what content is most relevant to you, to disseminate recommendations and promoted content to you, and to understand, measure, and report on how users interact with the Services. We also use the information we collect from the Service to maintain and constantly improve upon the Services.
 

C.2 Sharing Of Information
 C.2.1 We may share the information we collect as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:

  • With vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work or perform services on our behalf;

  • In response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law, rule, regulation or legal process;

  • If we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property or safety of SCAMPII, SOFT or others;

  • In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of SCAMPII, SOFT assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company;

  • Between and among SOFT and any current or future parent, subsidiary and/or affiliated SOFT; and

  • With your consent or at your direction.

C.2.2 We may also share aggregated or de-identified information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you. For example, we may share de-identified information with advertisers that partner with us to help them understand how well their advertisements performed.

D.DATA RETENTION

D.1 We store the information we collect for as long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which we originally collected it. We may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.
 
E. DATA TRANSFERS
E.1 SOFT is based in India. As such, we and our service providers may transfer your information to, or store or access it in, jurisdictions that may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction. We will take steps to ensure that your personal data receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it.
 
F. HOW WE PROTECT THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
F.1 We take reasonable measures to help protect the information we collect from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. However, no transmission over the internet or electronic storage can be completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any data.
